About Callian
Callian is a traditional Provençal village in the hills of the Var department, less than an hour from the Cote d’Azur.
The village is overlooked by an impressive medieval castle and is small enough to explore on foot. Meander the cobblestone streets, stopping by family-run restaurants to sample local produce and browse independent art galleries.

With the French Riviera on your doorstep, there are plenty of beautiful beaches and scenic ports to explore. Wander along the Boulevard de la Croisette in Cannes, just 30 minutes from Callian, or admire the luxury yachts in the Gulf of St Tropez, an hour and a half southeast of the Villa. Theoulle Sur Mer is especially lovely.

Close to Callian, there are a plethora of scenic forest trails for walking and cycling, taking you between the hilltop villages of Provence. If you are feeling the urge for a dip but don’t want to drive to the coast, Lac St Cassien is just 15 minutes from Bastide de Cavaroux.
